The spoken numbers event at memory competitions usually involves memorizing 1 spoken digits every second. You get scored for every digit you can recall without error. As soon as you make a mistake during recall, the recall is over.

As of June, 2021, the IAM world record for spoken numbers is Lance Tschirhart with 456 digits memorized in that many seconds.
