Speed-Watching Videos

Hello I'm new to the forum, not sure if this would go here!

You can speed-watch videos like on youtube without losing understanding of what they're saying. Speed reading hasn't worked much for me, this works pretty well. For some things you can only speed up 1.5x if the film moves fast already, but a lot of things you can do 2x speed or more which cuts viewing time in half.

On Youtube: click gear-shaped settings tab on bottom right of video, go to speed and choose up to 2x speed.

Firefox has for instance an add on that allows more speed: Html5 Youtube Video Speed Controller :: Add-ons for Firefox https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/youtubevideospeedcontroller/

Chrome has for instance Video Speed Controller - Chrome Web Store - Google https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/video-speed-controller/nffaoal...

Tested this for a while, works fine. Fastest I'm usually comfortable with on normal speed videos is about 2.2x which is about 24 mins viewing/hour of video if I did the math right.
