I have just began memory training. As in today. I feel i'm going to be the weird person staring at lists of random words and numbers at the bus stop. I'm okay with that.

I've known about the memory palace for a while, was introduced to it through a friend in the Historical dueling crowd. Interesting note; If you look at the illustrations in Gerard Thibault's, Acadamy of the Sword. You can piece them together into his memory palace.

It was popularized in my mind through Sherlock. And Josh Foer's book Moonwalking with Einstein gave me the inclination to dive headlong into learning.

Looking at the major system confuses the hell out of me. I'm thinking instead, of starting a Single digit PAO system. Memorizing ten concrete images instead of abstract sounds is easier for me. There is also less mental steps. Plus I can have 3 digits in a single locus, and a head start on double digits.

Looking forward to learning. Planning on using this through college.
