Speed Cards Memory Palaces

Hi guys,

I've been practicing speed cards a lot lately, however, I have a huge problem, I am having to create and memorise a new location/palace each time I practice memorising a new shuffled deck of cards. It's getting harder to create memory palaces for practicing.

my score so far to memorise a deck is about 14 minutes, I really need to find a solid solution to this so I can practice more often, as it is now it's stopping me because I am finding it very hard to find or create a new palace each time/deck.

How do you experienced guys practice speed cards?
do you have to keep creating a new memory palace for each deck?
what's the best way to practice speed cards?

You just need to create more memory palaces. Then after you have them, rotate them so the images from the last decks go away in the palaces you have already used.

Why can't you use the same palace? I only have three palaces I use to practice speed cards, with which I can practice six times a day

do you think having about 7 would be ideal? one for each day?

I was using the same palace initially, but then I get confused with the images in my mind from the previous deck.

when you say "palace", do you mean one palace with different locations with 26 stops/stations?
or just a single palace to with locations for each card?

how do you do that? using a single palace?

If I was to imagine Albert Einstein swinging a cane on my bed as the first location, I get confused on my next deck with the previous image/location. How does it work with you?

I mean the palace with the stops :)

Usually the next day, the images will have faded enough to use the palace again. If I feel like the image will stick, or if I want to use the palace again later that day, I mentally erase the person with an eraser. Sometimes it takes multiple erasings with one per hour, but it works for me.
