Recall 10 things you thought you'd forgotten

Try to pick things you remember attempting to recall a period of time ago, but failed. I doubt that anyone will succeed with 10 forgotten passwords, but would be interesting to know what things you've forgotten and how many you succeeded in recalling (if it is a password or something personal, no need for specifics). Post your progress here, even if you failed with recalling it :)

Cool exercise with a kind of infinite regress in it. What if I've forgotten things I've forgotten? ;)

One exercise I like to do is go through my mind to try and recollect as many classmates I've had as possible. There's repetition for me from preschool to Grade 7, but almost every time I go through the exercise, I can tease out one more face, sometimes a name.

I haven't released the recording yet on my podcast, but one thing I did last fall was to play this game with an old schoolmate in front of the microphone. It was amazing how differently we remembered some things, but how we both totally agreed on others.

In other words, you don't have to play such a game on your own.

That's awesome. I think I'm going to adopt this, and the OP's practice into a morning ritual. This would probably kick-start my mind for the day ahead.

Thanks for sharing that.

UPDATE: I just tried it. My entire second grade is blank. I don't even remember what teacher I had. This is such a weird feeling. I feel like I just entered an existential panic.
