New Feature: Create Memory Groups

I've enabled a feature that lets anyone create a new memory group on the website.

Examples of types of groups that could be created:

  • "People Learning Chinese Characters"
  • "Miami Memory Techniques Meetup Group"
  • "French Language Learners"
  • "University of [your school] Memory Techniques Club"
  • etc.

The difference between a group and a forum section is that groups can be created by anyone around a specific interest. Some groups can be private, and others public.

To create a new group, look for the "create content" link in the sidebar. When you save your group, it will be saved as a draft until I get a chance to read it and moderate it. Once your group is published, the website will automatically send you an e-mail, and you can start inviting people.

Has this feature been disabled? I cannot seem to locate it.

It's here, but will only work when you're logged in, and some features are temporarily offline:

Rebuilding that feature is on the to-do list. It is not fully functional at the moment -- pending updates with updating other parts of the site.

I created a memory group last day : Groupe français "Art of Mémory"
But this group is not published in the list on : http://mt.artofmemory.com/clubs
Is there any problem?

English is not my mother tongue.
I am learning English

Sorry about that. You should see it there now. There is caching on the website, so you might have seen a cached version.
