Animals as Objects for PAO?

Does it make sense to have an animal as the object for a PAO system? Or is it better to keep the object an inanimate object?

Thanks.

I have used animals as objects and it works just fine. I also have animals as the person for some of my systems. At the end, It is all about how you feel with the system and if you can keep everything straight.

Same here :

- some of my Ps are animals : Red XII (a lion), Bolt (a dog), the marsupilami, Nala, Simba, Timon (from the Lion King), Donkey Kong…
- 20 of my Os are animals :
+ Koala, unicorn, narwhal, medusa, shark, mouse, dodo, tortoise, cow, panda
+ ladybug, slug, mosquito, spider, beetle, scorpio, dragonfly, worm, butterfly, termite

I have no problems with either P or O. In some images, the object can be animate without problem neither.

I was worried that having an animal as an object might interfere with the possible actions, but I will forge ahead using some animals. Thanks!

I am just setting up my As and Os and hadn't thought about this issue. Any advice on setting As and Os welcome, and I must check my books by Dominic O'Brien and others.

Do you group them at all? How do you choose your people first - I have famous people in chronological order because I am also using them in memorising history.

But then I am looking for patterns in the ranks and what the numbers make me think of at first glance. 6s are sad while 9s are happy, 8s great, even if in three of the four cases, that greatness might be because they achieved greatness through violence and I think of them as great ?#$&s. My queens have to be feminine, but it didn't work that way chronologically. So QD is Copernicus and the queen on the card looks like she is grimacing because she's wearing copper-nickers (as so many people called him in their school days).

I'm trying to respect my spade people, love my hearts, find my diamonds cutting and my clubs curvaceous.

Are you doing anything like that or am I grossly overthinking?
