Hi Tiger Loci,

For me, I create a palace by walking through a place once then I pause and try to recall all the different locations. I do this because I will know which locations stuck out. After I have them, I rewalk through the place to hep cement them. You can take pictures to help refresh you memory. The amount of locations also depends on what you are using the palace for.

There isn't a single answer for how many palaces you will need in competition. It all depends on what your systems are, how much you will memorize, and what your goals are. It also comes down to training and the more palaces you have, the more you can train.

Again there is no specific amount on how many palaces you need to learn things like law, auditing and such.It all comes down on what you want or need to know. Some people want the general idea or others want every detail.

Here is something most people don't know and that is you don't always need a palace to learn information. Actually if you try to use a palace for learning some info, you are just making it a lot harder. A memory palace is great but shouldn't always be used.

Hopefully I helped you out. Anything else just asked me!

Various ways, but I rarely take pictures.
One way, is just focus. Look around, pay attention to the room. You'll see that you can remember most things quite well using just your spacial memory. Should get a thing or two wrong, who cares? Personally, I don't give a damn about if the curtains are red or blue, I care about if it is useful in my memory palace. If I remember the chairs to be leather, but they happened to be fabric, I don't mind and just go with the leather, because that is what I remembered.

The memory palaces don't have to be an exact representation of the real life model you use for it.

I prefer to use one palace for each of the disciplines, so ten in total, but different people have different preferences here. The only way to find out what works for you, is to try and experiment :)

Can be either one, or hundreds. Basically the only answer I can give is 'you need as many as you need'.
